I have been an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator here in Canada since 2006, offering classes and events. It’s at these classes, that I teach paper crafting techniques that you can use to create beautiful cards, scrapbook pages, and décor for your home. I also sell all of the supplies you need for your paper arts. You can order Stampin’ Up! product from me through my online store or by contacting me directly. I’m always happy to answer questions and support you in your paper crafting adventures.

My own adventure began with an invitation to attend a Stampin’ Up! workshop hosted by a friend in her home. This was my first exposure to Stampin’ Up! and I instantly fell in love with how easy it was to make something so beautiful (and something much more refined than what I made with potato stamps!). I was that person who “ooed” and “ahhed” at each demonstration and was so proud of my work when I completed my cards. I ordered some basic supplies at her party: paper, ink, and a stamp set, and began crafting my heart out! I was delighted to discover a creative outlet that was so accessible. I didn’t need to be an artist to make beautiful creations! I was smitten!! It didn’t take me long to decide to become a demonstrator after that. Besides, I needed the discount so I could buy more supplies!

I signed up a few weeks after my second child was born. I have fond memories of sitting at the dining room table while she slept contently in her baby swing, my eldest son asleep in his room and my husband at work for the night shift. I would craft until the wee hours with such joy in my soul!

Now that I’m in my forties, crafting into the wee hours is much less enticing. However, I can easily spend days in my craft room, only coming out once in a while, all bleary-eyed and disheveled, foraging for food and asking my family what day it is.

But in all seriousness, it’s absolutely effortless to lose track of time when I’m deep in the delight and joy of creating.

I have a good solid base for my personal crafting needs, thanks to that discount on my Stampin’ Up! supplies, and I get the added benefit of sharing my passion for paper crafts with others through the classes and events I offer. I love that I can have my own little creative escape whenever I need it and that the cost of my supplies are covered by my income from sales and class fees.

Creating is my happy place.

Being a demonstrator with Stampin’ Up! has made my happy place somewhere I can visit every single day! I can work my business how I want and fit it around the needs of my family. I get to choose how much time and energy goes into my stamping and can adapt to the ever-changing, never-static, ebb and flow of life and all its adventures. That is a beautiful thing!

Maybe you want to know more about what being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is all about. I would be thrilled to talk with you about it and answer any questions. Let’s schedule a coffee date.
